Welcome to our new website! Andrea Levine Jewelry has now become Andrea Levine Designs, because now we offer apparel, luxurious accessories, and gifts plus fine jewelry.

Andrea Levine, designer of Andrea Levine Jewelry, did not start her career as a jewelry designer, but as a teacher and administrator of English and foreign languages and creative thinking. She earned her B.A. in Spanish and English from Lafayette College, and a Master's in Gifted and Talented Education from Widener University.

As a child, Andrea's love of beautiful jewelry came from her mother's jewel box. She always adored dressing up with every magnificent piece of jewelry from her mother's vast collection. "Is it 14k?" was her first question as a little girl who loved the mesmerizing quality of fine jewelry.

Having grown up in her family's retail store, she learned more about the beauty of jewelry and the world of sales. Her favorite department, of course, was the watch and jewelry counters.

With her degree in English and her experience as a teacher, she realized that teaching was sales and her subjects, writing and English, were her creative outlets. She adored everything about the creative process, and published original teaching materials of gifted children.

In 1993, Andrea’s husband of two and a half years, Dr. Gene Rogosin, a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy serving Marines in Desert Storm, was tragically killed in an accident on his way home from Fort Dix, NJ. He had been on active duty as a Reservist when not practicing dentistry in South Jersey. Not only did Andrea Levine become a young widow, but also a single parent of their 16 month old daughter, Emily.

Andrea retired from education in 1994 and became a stay at home mother. She then focused on her family and pets.

He received many "Best of Breeds" and went on to earn his Canadian title, also. Andrea continues to passionately adore her Am. Can. Ch. Mac-Ken-Char's Ruff-N-Tuff Duff, and treasures his new title as "Best Stay at Home Dog." He now shares his home with a rescued orange tabby named Muffin. As most animal lovers, Andrea constantly searched for anything "Westie" or orange tabby.

Always looking for beautiful dog and cat items, including handbags, clothing, art, and jewelry, she saw a need for affordable, luxurious, and tasteful diamond animal jewelry.

At the same time, she opened her business as a private jeweler, Andrea & Co., LLC, located in Wilmington, Delaware. With her resources and creativity, she decided to apply the principles of creative thinking that she had taught her students, and created her new and exciting line of beautiful, affordable pave diamond animal jewelry. She makes her pieces as close to the breed as possible in pave diamonds because she understands the love and pride each owner has for his or her animals.
